about what we do and how you can get involved:
Welcome to the Appleton Chapter, NSDAR
We are privileged to have been serving Appleton and our surrounding communities for over 100 years and are delighted at your interest in our chapter of the non-profit National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR). We encourage you to review our current activities to see what we are doing to honor our personal and local history, elevate patriotism, and educate our local community on a wide variety of topics.
Our evolving chapter has over 70 members, which includes Junior members, 35 or younger, and women who have transferred in from other states. Our chapter represents several generations and supports a wide variety of events and awards. The Appleton Chapter, NSDAR, includes members from Appleton, Grand Chute, Neenah, Menasha, Oshkosh, Fox Crossing, Little Chute, Kaukauna and more!
If you live in the Fox Valley and believe one of your ancestors may have served in the Revolutionary War, we encourage you to learn more about eligibility and get involved today! We even have volunteer genealogists who can assist you with locating ancestors for your application, if needed.
"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams."
